Springtime is a perfect time to stroll through the Ladew Topiary Gardens. It’s hard to believe that one man, with no formal training and very little outside help, created such a magnificent, living masterpiece. Even more astonishing is that he created the gardens in addition to transforming the old white farmhouse, into the stately Manor House. The group will have ample time to explore the grounds at your own pace.
Lunch today will be at the Friendly Farm Restaurant. Enjoy a lovely lunch on the farm with breathtaking views year-round.
This afternoon we’ll make a stop at the Markets of Shrewsbury for free time to shop and browse. A traditional Amish farm market featuring over 20 merchants who sell everything from locally grown produce, desserts, canned goods, crafts, gifts and more.
