Individual cancellations received after the Final Count & Payment Due Date will be subject to a $20 per person per day cancellation fee, plus any non-refundable costs (such as admission tickets, show tickets, meal and lodging expenses, etc.) incurred by Elite Coach in advance of the trip. Any refunds given will be processed after the trip has been completed. No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to departure. Day 1: Sunday, September 26
Join us as we depart for an autumn adventure in New Hampshire, the Granite State!
We will be making appropriate rest stops and meal stops along the way. Dinner will be included along the way in the Manchester area.
Afterwards, we continue to the town of Lincoln, where we check into the Mountain Club at the Loon Resort for the next 3 nights.
Day 2: Monday, September 27
This morning, we will enjoy breakfast at our hotel before meeting our Local Guide and departing for a day of touring!
First, we travel across the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. The “Kanc,” as the locals call it, takes you on a path through the White Mountain National Forest with breathtaking views.
Then, we arrive in time for a Soup and Sandwich Lunch included at the Cog Railway.
Afterwards, travel on the Cog Railway for a three-hour round-trip, scenic train ride, to include the Summit of Mount Washington, the Northeast`s Highest Peak!
Dinner is included at a local restaurant this evening.
Day 3: Tuesday, September 28
We begin the day with breakfast at our hotel, before departing and meeting our Local Guide for a day of touring.
Our first stop is a scenic one –way ride on Lake Winnipesaukee (one of the largest lakes enclosed in one state). Your journey on the ship brings you to the port of Wolfeboro, the Oldest Summer Resort in America.
Lunch will be on our own, with free time for shopping in the delightful lakeside resort town of Wolfeboro. Then, we will tour the Wright Museum.
This evening, dinner will be served on the Café Lafayette Dinner Train. Enjoy five courses of fine food served to you in a European manner.
Following dinner, we bid farewell to our guide and return to the hotel for the remainder of the evening.
Day 4: Wednesday, September 29
We begin the day with breakfast at the hotel, then we will meet our Local Guide. We ride the Cannon Mountain Tram to the top of Cannon Mountain. Enjoy spectacular, rugged mountain scenery, complete with the towering peaks of the Franconia and Kinsman mountain ranges.
Then, we return to our hotel, for time to relax and get ready for the rest of our day. We check-out and head to the Omni Mount Washington Resort, where we will enjoy an Elegant Buffet Lunch and Tour. Known as a favorite New England retreat of presidents, poets and celebrities; the hotel delights every sense with refined dining and luxurious décor.
Following lunch, we depart New Hampshire and travel to Massachusetts, the “Bay State”. We then check into the Comfort Inn Sturbridge, for a one-night stay.
Then, we head to the Salem Cross Inn, for a Fireplace Feast! Relax by the fieldstone fireplace as the crackling fire roasts your prime rib over a crackling fire of wild cherry logs.
Then, settle in as the baker prepares a deep-dish apple pie from scratch right before your eyes, using apples picked from the trees in their local orchards. Beware the brimming bowl of freshly whipped cream!
Day 5: Thursday, September 30
We enjoy breakfast at our hotel before checking out and departing for home.
We will be making appropriate rest stops and meal stops along the way, and return home filled with wonderful memories of our time away!
