Job Description

 

Working in conjunction with a team of technicians, the primary function of this position is to maintain a fleet of 25 charter buses. Daily responsibilities vary significantly and include general maintenance, air conditioning and heating system maintenance, electrical diagnostics and repair, and some engine and transmission work. The fleet consists primarily of high end Prevost motorcoaches, model years 1997-2007.

Elite Coach is an approved Prevost warranty facility and PA inspection station. In addition to the company's own fleet, repair service is occasionally provided to other charter bus operators. The facility also performs a variety of work on high end motor homes.

Due to relatively sophisticated electrical systems, work on these vehicles is fairly technical and requires the ability to read and understand technical manuals and electrical diagrams. Attention to detail is vital. Occasional heavy lifting is required, however, in contrast to most diesel facilities the need for heavy lifting is infrequent.

Elite Coach is a growing family owned company established in 1991. Our maintenance facility was built in 1998 and is a clean, professional, 5 bay facility. Hours are Monday through Friday. We are currently running 2 shifts during our busy months in the spring & fall. In the winter & mid-summer months we go back to a single day shift. Shift differentials apply while working hours other than day shift. Some overtime is available. Preferred applicants will be available to be on call one weekend per month, which provides additional overtime opportunities.
