Elite Coach wants to be your choice for quality motorcoach transportation!

Here is a list of information to gather and questions to ask so you can make an informed decision when hiring a motorcoach company to transport your group.

1. Ask about the company's fleet. Number of vehicles, models, and average age of the vehicles.

Elite Coach currently has 23 vehicles in our fleet. Eighteen, 47 – 56 Passenger Prevost models, and five brand new 25 passenger mini-coaches. The average year of our fleet is 2003.

2. How long has the company been in business?

Elite Coach has been in business since 1991 and has grown to a fleet of 23 coaches and over 50 employees.

3. Do an onsite inspection of the company's facilities and equipment.

Elite Coach Maintenance Department4. Make certain that the company has a thorough preventative maintenance program and on site garage facilities for regular maintenance.

Elite coach has a full service, 5 bay garage facility on site staffed with full time, experienced mechanics. All of our equipment is serviced at regular intervals and according to factory specifications. As a result, our fleet is in top condition at all times.

5. Inquire about the company's safety record and DOT safety rating.

Elite Coach has an excellent safety record and holds the DOT’s top rating of "Satisfactory". In addition, Elite Coach is an approved carrier for the Department of Defense and recently obtained the highest DOD inspection rating of "1".

6. Ask for the company's DOT carrier number and check the carriers profile on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s SAFER system. All carriers are required to be registered with the DOT and have authorization to operate.

7. Ensure that the company adheres to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and hours of service rules.

8. Verify that the company carries adequate insurance – the legal minimum is $5 million combined, single-limit liability coverage.

Elite Coach is insured at the $5 million level by an "A" rated insurance company and has been with the same insurance company since 1991. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.

9. Find out how the company handles emergency situations on the road.

Elite Coach is a member of the International Motorcoach Group and has a nation wide reciprocal maintenance agreement with all of the member companies. Our first priority is to our passengers. IMG companies will provide a replacement coach to move our passengers when necessary.
